About me

From an early age, I have been fascinated by the limitless possibilities of technology and the creative potential it holds. Whether it's solving complex problems, exploring new fields, or tackling challenges, my curiosity and passion for learning have always driven me to improve my skills and broaden my horizons. I earned my BSc in Computer Science & Engineering from Patuakhali Science & Technology University in Patuakhali, Bangladesh. It was during this time that I developed a deep interest in research and competitive programming, passions that continue to shape my career and academic pursuits. My teaching career began at the University of Scholars, where I worked as a Lecturer from November 2023 until June 2023. In July 2024, I joined Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) as a Lecturer in Computer Science & Engineering, where I strive to inspire the next generation of engineers. Outside of academia, I have participated in various activities such as the Math Olympiad, Science Fairs, and others, all of which have helped hone my problem-solving and critical thinking skills. I have also been actively involved in volunteering, which has significantly enhanced my leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Looking to the future, I am excited about the opportunities ahead, as I continue to challenge myself, contribute to advancements in technology and research, and make a positive impact on the world.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading thriller books and watching thriller movies. I also enjoy gardening and connecting with people, making new friends along the way.

Teaching

  • Jessica miller

    Discrete Mathematics

In Discrete Mathematics (CSE 103), I teach core topics like logic, sets, combinatorics, and graph theory, emphasizing their role in solving real-world computing problems. My course strengthens students' analytical thinking and prepares them for complex problem-solving tasks in technology and research.

  • Emily evans

    Numerical Analysis

In my Numerical Analysis course (CSE 224), I emphasize the development and application of algorithms for approximating solutions to mathematical problems. Students learn techniques such as interpolation, numerical differentiation and integration, and solving systems of linear and nonlinear equations. The course bridges theoretical concepts with computational methods, preparing students to tackle real-world scientific and engineering challenges through numerical computation.

  • Emily evans

    System Analysis and Design

In my System Analysis and Design course(CSE 317 & CSE 318), I focus on blending theory with practice. Students explore core concepts like system life cycles, requirement gathering, and UML modeling in theory classes, and apply these skills during lab sessions through real-world projects and case studies. This combined approach helps students build both the knowledge and the practical experience needed to design and implement effective systems.

  • Emily evans

    Computer Operations and Applications

In this course (ICT 1102), students learn the fundamentals of computer systems, operating environments, and key applications through a blend of theory and lab work. My goal is to build their confidence and practical skills, preparing them to effectively use technology in academic, professional, and everyday settings.

Competitive Programming Record

I have always loved figuring things out. Even as a kid, I'd spend hours making up stories and trying to solve problems in my head. That natural curiosity led me to programming, which felt like a perfect fit. In school, whenever I had a spare moment, I'd dive into solving puzzles and problems – it was actually a great way to clear my head. Then I discovered programming contests, and that really took things to the next level. They pushed me to think faster and more strategically, especially under pressure. It's been an exciting journey of constantly learning and improving.
